Bread Samosa Recipe | How to Make Bread Samosa | Indian Street Food

When you crave for homemade samosas but are too lazy for the long process…simply grab those extra packets of unused bread & instantly fold them into BREAD SAMOSA! 😎😊
Serves- 2-3
Ingredients-
For the crust-
4 slices of bread (brown & white)
Water- as needed
Refined oil- for deep frying
For filling-
1 tbsp refined oil
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp green chillies, chopped
1 tsp dry mango powder (amchur powder)
1 cup potatoes, boiled & mashed
1 cup boiled green peas
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup grated paneer
Salt to taste
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped coriander
2 tbsp raisins
2 tbsp cashews, chopped
Method-
For the filling-
Heat refined oil in a pan.
Add the chopped onions and sautГ© till they turn translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste, garam masala, chopped green chillies, dry mango powder and mix well.
Add boiled potatoes & mash them well with the mixture.
Add boiled green peas, sugar, grated paneer, salt, lemon juice, chopped coriander, raisins, chopped cashews,
Let it cook for 2 minutes on a slow flame and then keep aside.
For making samosa-
Cut the edges of the bread slices and roll them flat.
Fold them and make cones by applying little water with your fingertips (to avoid breakage).
Fill the potato filling and seal the cone.
Heat refined oil in a pan.
Deep fry the bread samosas until golden or golden brown in colour (white & brown bread respectively).
Serve hot with green chutney & squeeze some lemon juice on top.
Green Chutney
Blend chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chillies & ginger, cumin powder, chaat masala, lemon juice and salt with a little water until smooth.
